Terms & Conditions

Introduction

These Terms and Conditions outline the agreement between Stay Connected (“we,” “us,” “our”) and the client (“you”) regarding the provision of companionship support services. By engaging our services, you agree to the terms set out below.

 

Services

We offer companionship support designed to promote wellbeing, independence, and meaningful connection. Services may include, but are not limited to, social visits, assistance with hobbies, outings, and light practical support. We do not provide personal care, medical treatment, or regulated healthcare services.

 

Booking and Scheduling

  • Services are arranged in advance through mutual agreement.

  • We aim to be flexible and responsive to your needs.

  • Changes to scheduled sessions should be made with at least 24 hours’ notice.

 

Fees and Payment

  • Fees are agreed upon prior to service commencement and outlined in your service agreement.

  • Invoices are issued weekly and payable within 7 days.

  • Late payments may incur a fee. Please see service agreement for details.

 

Cancellation and Termination

  • You may cancel a session with 24 hours’ notice at no charge.

  • Repeated cancellations or missed appointments may result in review of the service arrangement.

  • If the service provider needs to cancel, as much notice as possible will be given and the session will either be rescheduled or not charged.

  • Either party may terminate the agreement with 7 days’ written notice.

 

 Confidentiality and Data Protection

  • We treat all personal information with the utmost confidentiality.

  • Data is stored securely and handled in accordance with UK GDPR regulations.

  • We draw inspiration from the professional codes of conduct of Social Care Wales and NHS Wales, incorporating their principles into our own approach to ensure alignment with best practices.

 

Safeguarding and Wellbeing

  • We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of those we support.

  • Any concerns will be handled sensitively and in line with our safeguarding policy.

 

 Liability

  • We take all reasonable care in delivering our services.

  • We are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from the use of our services.

 

Feedback and Complaints

  • We welcome feedback to help us improve.

  • Complaints will be handled promptly and respectfully, in line with our complaints procedure.

 

Amendments

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. You will be notified of any significant changes.
